Nassau Financial Group mourns the loss of Diana Piquette, our Chief Financial Officer, who passed away on July 18, 2022.
“Diana played a key role in driving Nassau’s success over the past several years, with her brilliant mind, strong work ethic, and talent for managing complex initiatives. Above all, Diana was a trusted advisor and good friend to her colleagues across the company,” said Phil Gass, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to Diana’s family during this difficult time,” he said.
Diana was an extraordinary leader since joining the company in 2014, progressing through several management roles including Controller, Chief Accounting Officer, and Head of Strategic & Financial Planning, before being named Chief Financial Officer in 2020. At the end of 2021, her responsibilities expanded to include both the global finance and actuarial functions.
Diana was selected for the American Council of Life Insurer’s (ACLI) Rising Leader Program in 2020 and was a Hartford Business Journal “40 Under Forty” honoree in 2021. She served on the Board of Trustees of the Connecticut Science Center.
